Maria McGill is the founder of Designs to Shine, luxury ballroom dancewear. The business began in her mother's kitchen in 1996 and has since grown into one of the premier costumers for the ballroom industry. Her creations for men and women have been worn on shows like Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, Ballroom Boot Camp and Skating With Celebrities, as well as featured on major news and talk show programs. Maria has also expanded her fashion line with Budapest PracticeWear and Entrada Couture, cocktail and black tie evening wear. Maria is a NDCA adjudicator and a former Standard Champion and Bronze medalist at the US Championships.
Michael Chapman is an international adjudicator, award-winning choreographer and former World Professional Exhibition Champion and US Pro/Am Grand Champion. In 2004, Michael began working with formation teams in China, bringing them to the British Championships where they have consistently placed first and second against more experienced teams. Michael has organized one of the premier ballroom events in North America, the Millennium Dancesport Championships, since 1997, and is co-organizer of the Hollywood Dancesport Championships, and the Florida Superstars Dancesport Championships, which gives out the largest pro/am and professional cash purses in America.
Herb Vazquez is originally from Cuba where he started dancing salsa at the age of three and, as a teen, expanded his dance education to include ballet, jazz and tap. As a dance instructor and owner of The Palms Ballroom in Palm Beach, Florida, Herb has dedicated himself to teaching the art of dance. He has also demonstrated pro/am dancing at venues around the world. Herb was awarded Top Teacher at the prestigious United States Dancesport Championships for five consecutive years and won the Overall Top Teacher title and the Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in pro/am championship dancing at the Challenge Champions. His students, from pre-teen to seniors, have won numerous US pro/am titles.
Michael Chapman, Maria McGill and Herb Vazquez had a common dream to develop luxury dance adventures that catered to clients with a taste for exclusivity, excitement and the extraordinary. With diverse talents honed and developed in the dance industry, the trio joined forces and, in 2007, Fantasy Guild Productions, Inc. was born. Recently they decided to expand their partnership into Dancesport competitions.
